Artisys Corporation is seeking an experienced Android SDK Developer to join our team and lead the professionalization and optimization efforts of existing code. This role goes beyond conventional development; it involves transforming "hacked together" code into a robust, scalable SDK with meticulous documentation. As a key player in our team, you will contribute to in-person interactions, lab experiments, and validation processes. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in Android app development, a strong command of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK, and a knack for transforming raw code into a well-structured and documented SDK. This role provides a unique opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the robustness and scalability of our codebase.

Responsibilities:

• Elevate existing code to professional standards for robustness and scalability.
• Transform code into a well-documented and transferrable SDK
• Work closely with the team, rapidly gaining expertise in existing code through in-person interactions.
• Actively participate in lab experiments and validation processes.
• Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK.
• Proficiency in Android Camera2 API.
• Experience with Android build and release management tools such as Gradle and Android Studio Build.
• Background in managing build artifacts and troubleshooting build and release issues.
• Proven experience in testing and integration methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong documentation skills for technical audiences.
• Familiarity with documentation tools like Markdown or Sphinx.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially AWS.
• Exposure to 3D, AR/VR, and Photogrammetry.
